" imperfections "
In the quiet corners of my mind, shy, Honesty whispers, though I try, To hide behind a mask I wear, Afraid to show what's truly there. But in the depths where truth resides, A voice speaks softly, it confides, That honesty, though it may seem bad, Is the path to freedom that I've had. For in the moments of raw truth's grace, I find a light to guide my pace, And though it's scary to be real, In vulnerability, I can heal. So here I stand, imperfect and true, Embracing all that makes me, me and you, Shy, honest, and maybe a tad, But in this journey, I'm not so bad.
