I'm still standing
From the nadir of existence, I arose , unbroken, Despite the calumny, the vitriol, the hearts of stone. The garrulous, throngs, with schadenfreude's gleeful cheer, Expected my demise , my utter defeat, my final sneer. But a phoenix, from ashes of despair, Rose , rejuvenated, with a spirit, unvanquished, rare. The odious whispers, the malignant mirthless grins, Only strengthened my mettle, my resolve ,my skin. Through the crucible suffering, I was refined , purged of the dross, the ephemeral, the mundane ,the blind. I emerged, tempered , like steel , unyielding strong. A testament to the human spirit, where will and hope belong. Now, I stand , unshaken, unbowed, unbroken, A monument to resilience , to the unyielding, unspoken, for I have faced the abyss , and emerged , a new, A being reborn , remade , with a spirit forever true.
