I'm sorry
This is an apology to my body. I'm sorry for all the cuts on your wrists, and all the hits. All the meals I faked to eat, Just to make you thin. They always said I was beautiful, but knock me down. All the times I was out on a ledge. The only thing stopping me; myself. I'm sorry for all the beatings I let you take, knowing I could hit back harder. I'm sorry for keeping your voice hidden and your beauty buried. All the nights your tears hit the pillow, each like a gunshot being fired. And although I made you hurt, you made me see the beauty they told me of. So, Thank you and I'm sorry.
