"I'm Proud Of You"
A Mother and a Father always fight while a child is present. Glass pieces, roaches, and fleas filled the living room floor. Children need love and support. But what happens when the mind of the young child doesn’t get what it needs? The brain hurts, stresses, hates, and saddens more than usual. Their mind makes it seem that it’s the child’s fault, but it’s not their fault. They crave the deserved attention from their parents. So they lash out, bully, and self-harm just to feel like they’re enough. But if their mom or dad left. Then it would be different. Girls need a father figure. So when they grow up, they’ll be less likely to resort to substances. Boys need a mother figure. So when they grow up, they feel like they matter in their relationships. So whenever the little boy hears “I’m Proud Of You” from their mommy, the child feels happier. Whenever the little girl hears “I’m Proud Of You” from their daddy, the child feels like she’s enough. Love, support, and even a simple phrase of “I’m Proud Of You” go a long way for a child.
