I'm leaving the desert PT 2
I blame you but you're not the only one at fault There were more than just your lies that I bought I overlooked every problem, I knew you were dishonest The lies I told myself are what hit me the hardest Every day I wake up, every breath i take Every time I think about our heartbreak I grow stronger on my own and build a better base I know that where I'm going is such a better place I gave up a lot to be here in this misery And I'm so thankful, even if it's contradictory Some days it feels like I'm being tortured But I know it's the only way to move forward I can't fight it, I'm still depressed Things get worse before they get better, I can attest But this is the happiest I've ever been And I know that I'll never be that unhappy again
