I'm just a man
I am a man, That doesn’t cry, Men don’t cry is what they say. I have to act brave, Or my friends won’t stay. If I’m seen as weak, They’ll all laugh at me, For I am a man, and men are brave. Men are strong, Is what we say, So why do I feel so drained. I keep it all deep inside, So I look like I’m fine, But deep down i know, That one day it’ll escape. I haven’t cried for years, Because I have a fear, That once I start, I wont stop. Even a tear drop, Isn’t allowed to fall, Otherwise it could start a whole waterfall. I guess I’m just scared, That I’ll loose it all, My friends, my family all gone. I have to stay away, From my emotions, Stay cold, stay strong, For I am a man.
