I'm His Child
The devil thought he had me bound, But little did he know, I'm Yah's found. A sheep in His flock, guided and led, No one can stand against my Yah, in my head. He lives within me, a burning flame, My heart beats for Him, my soul proclaims. When devil comes roaring like a lion's might, I put on the full armor of my Father's light. The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness too, The sword of the Spirit, to cut through lies anew. The shield of faith, to quench every fiery dart, The belt of truth, to keep my heart. I'm unmoved, unshakeable, steadfast and strong, Elohim's power courses through me all day long. I'm His child, adopted, loved and made new, No weapon formed against me shall prosper, it's true. The devil may scheme, but Yah's got the plan, My Father's got me, in His loving hand. I'll stand firm, unwavering and bold, For I am His child, forever to hold. His love envelops me, like a shield of grace, His mercy endures, through time and space. His word guides me, through darkest night, His presence comforts, banishing all fright. I'll lift my voice, to sing His praise, For He's my Rock, my Savior, my Way. I'll stand on His promises, unshaken and true, For I know my Yah.
