I'm free
I lived a sad life-a short life, though it did feel long. I've suffered filled with pain that was unabated, wounds that cut so deep that they never healed. I was dying in a living body, I was crying-yet, no tears came out. I was smiling a white lie, gazing up at the night sky. I was alone and alone I was, till I heard a voice, whispering- near the balcony. It got louder, and louder. I followed it all the way through, there I met a friend, he was cold and cloaked. He invited me on a trip, how kind I thought and I'm free I yawped.
