I'm drowning
I drown in my tears, sink in an endless Sea. Chains hold me down, I have no air to breathe. I see you in front of me, you tell me to go up. But I want to follow you, in the endless depths of the dark. My lungs fill with water, I taste the salt on my tongue. My heart starts to rip, I open my mouth to scream. The wretched sound never comes, my heart turns to crumbs. I tried to find the pieces, teach them back up. Just like I've always done. I guess that's what I've come to, a stitched up body with no mouth. An empty carcass, a soul from the past.
