I'm a Muslim
I’m a Muslim — not just by name, But by the light that burns like flame. In a world of noise and empty fame, I bow my head, and I feel no shame. I’m a Muslim — I rise before dawn, While the stars still blink and the night’s not gone. In the hush of Fajr, I stand alone, Yet I feel connected, I feel at home. I’m a Muslim — I guard my soul, From whispers that seek to make me fall. Temptations chase me every day, But I find my peace in Salah and Du’a. I’m a Muslim — flawed but true, Sometimes I stumble, like me and you. But even in sin, I run back fast, To the One whose mercy will always last. I’m a Muslim — not just in dress, But in striving daily to do my best. To be kind, to be just, to be sincere, To live in faith and not in fear. I’m a Muslim — in joy and pain, Through sunshine bright or falling rain. I know this life is just a test, And Jannah is the final rest.
