I'm a Musician in My Own Way

I never wanted to be a firefighter or police I knew what I wanted since I was 4 I want to be a vet But for awhile I wanted to be a musician I wanted to travel the world I wanted to sing on stage after stage But I was always too nervous So I picked veterinarian instead I leaned over to you during the concert I mentioned the pointless fact You looked at me and said you could see it Could see me pracing on a stage singing a song I wrote Maybe that's why I write poetry Because deep down I still dream about singing
