Illusion of choice
They call me ungrateful and lazy, neither of them can see my mind is hazy. Fighting itself everyday, questioning if I'll stay. They let me pick a side, only so we can collide. Not in a fair battle though, but under authority's blow. They want to cut off my wings, just because I long to see things. I want to learn and freely travel, to the distant lands of awe and marvel. It hurts to hear, but I won't shed a tear, I know there's gonna be a sequel, in the end, we're all just people.
