Illusion

Across the sea and in the midnight sky You sit Sparkles of light dance Illuminating a golden bridge to you Each step I try to take I fall deeper into you abyss There is no path to you Only taunts and teases light the path Before I walk to our death I realize that between us was just an illusion I will never be able to reach you To hold your hand, kiss your lips As I sink deeper and deeper I'm surrounded by the memories we had It's time we both let go Before we both walk to our demise
