Illness shadows my Christmas
Christmas is tomorrow,Joy's in the air But my illness holds me back, with symptoms I can't share Aches and pains,a cough that won't cease As festive cheer surrounds me, I fell left to freeze Gifts are wrapped, the tree's aglow But my bed's my haven, where I'll stay, don't you know? That scent of cookies wafts, a merry sound But my fever's haze keeps me spinning round Wishing I could join,in the festive delight But for now, rest is all that's in sight Maybe next year, I'll dance with glee Till then, quiet Christmas, just me _ Holino.k.chishi
