I feel lost and scared that it lingers I feel you slipping through my fingers trying to hold on tight to what I have left of you trying so hard to figure out what I should do I keep waiting for you to talk but instead I keep going on so many walks you stay on my mind and maybe I'm just very blind because I keep on holding onto what remains and nothing has even felt the same you made me a promise that I thought you'd keep waiting for my phone to beep but you never rang or came back for me you still have the key the key to everything about me please don't leave give me a chance to make things better so this is me tryna write a letter I want closure and I want a second chance I know there's still a way for us when you give me that glance I'll wait forever if it means we get to be together
