I'll be there in my absence
When life gives you a heavy rain, go to your room. I may not be there to comfort you, but I'll be your bed—lay down and rest. I may not be able to offer my shoulders to cry on, but I’ll be your pillow—let your tears fall. My warmth may can't reach you, but I'll be your blanket, giving you serenity I may not be there to hear every drop of your tears, but I’ll be the voice in your quiet room— whispering, “Let your body rest. Go to sleep. I might be in your dreams, wiping your tears.”
