ignorance is bliss, end.
over the years, seeing addicts and dead beats alike I've learned that this isn't the case its an unfortunate tale, but a very real one even then, after my young discovery I thought that I had an okay family one that loved me yeah my dad never really said much to me yeah I had to stand between my fighting parents at the age of 5 yeah my sister is addicted to fetanyl yeah my mom loves me one day but not the next but that was all normal to me up until it wasn't. the second I began discovering who I was when I learned that real, good families aren't like this my whole world fell apart rose tinted lenses were glued to my eyes and I was finally taking them off seeing the world, my parents, my life for what it was. all I saw was bullshit. bullshit lies bullshit love bullshit parenting bullshit bullshit bullshit. I want those rose tinted lenses back. I want to live blissfully unaware again.
