“If You’ll Stay”
I wonder, if love leads me to you, Will you stay, Or will you walk away? Our eyes have met for countless times already, as if they are the ones brave enough to speak for our unsaid feelings. But, was it really our unsaid feelings, or was it just mine? I am really afraid to fall, knowing there is a chance you may never reach out to catch me. But if ever you see me falling, would your hands reach for mine? Will you stay, Or pass by with a short glance, pretending our eyes had never known each other? I am scared to know the answer, yet I ache for the courage to hear it. To accept it. To let you go. Even though it hurts me, I’d still whisper, Meeting you was a beautiful serendipity I have ever experienced, Yet your absence was a prophesy I never wanted to endure.
