If you let me
I could love you, in a million different ways I could show you the best parts of yourself And we could uncover much more, together. I could make you laugh I swear, without raising my hands to your armpit Does that make you laugh? I know I'm not the best choice out here And let's face it, you could do better, way better. And yet I am still here, still begging, wanting more. The problem is not that I could not find better. I believe I have already found it. I swear I love you, so much it breaks me. Love, of only you let me, show you how. Hear me out, I won't force after you hear my heart. I'll let it gently whisper to yours, don't interfere And although I know you hate it Please let me convince you, just this once To leave our brains behind, because our hearts? They recognise each other, and I know you know. So don't leave me out love, don't shut your heart. The brain knows better, but can it see your eyes twinkle as bright as I can? Does it know the sight I feed you, when we are together? Because as much as you deny it sweetie, You love me, and I love you back Just the same way.
