If You Don't Help Me
If You don't intervene, O Yah, my Rock and Redeemer, The scoffers will deride, and Your name will be demeaned, They'll mock Your omnipotence, and Your presence disdain, And when they see me fallen, Your existence they'll disclaim. Make me an exemplar, O Yah, of Your mighty hand, A testament to Your power, in this barren land, Let Your divine fingerprints be visible on my life, A beacon of hope, that shines, and cuts through strife. I'm Your sheep, O Yah, hear my supplications dear, A humble servant, pleading, with tears and fervent cheer, Do not forsake nor abandon me, in this darkest night, For Your promises, O Yah, are beacons that shine so bright. Your words, O Yah, are truth, and Your vows never falter, When You speak, the universe trembles, and Your will alters, I know Your faithfulness, O Yah, and Your love so true, You'll uphold me, and guide me, through all I'll go through. Speak to me, O Yah, in this silence so profound, Comfort my heart, and calm my troubled mind, around, Let Your still, small voice, whisper words of peace and cheer, And in Your presence, O Yah, let my soul find solace here. Remember Your covenant, O Yah, with me, Your child, A bond of love and loyalty, forever undefiled.
