if true
If it will be true that on the 7th we met, and on the 8th we crossed a line and built a bridge with no way back then let it be true all the way. If it will be true that she carries not just my love, but my blood, my name, my future then I will stand. I will not run. I will not hide. If it will be true they’ll talk, and laugh, and whisper in corners they think I can’t hear then let them. Their noise is nothing against the sound of a small heartbeat inside her. If it will be true she will be a mother, I will be a father, we will be three against the world then the world can bring its storms, because we’ll have our own weather inside our home. If it will be true I may lose friends, I may lose face, I may lose what they say is worth keeping then fine. I will trade it all for the truth that she is mine, and Junior is ours. If it will be true then love has already won.
