If only you listened...
I told you so. Beloved I said "No" I warned you not to open that door. I alerted you to the danger of letting them on your ship. I chastised you, my dear one not to give them the chance. I begged you not let yourself to be this vulnerable. Your heart, too big for your chest just had to swing open without reservations. Your genuineness, your focus, intentions, your advancement, your manliness. It was all you had left, all grouped into the softest and sweetest part of you. Your anchor in this selfishly violent stormy sea filled with cruel pirates seeking to pounce. They found the next victim, one humanly foolish enough to treat them as humans not toys. Now you're sinking, drowning fast, gulping the salty consequences of your choice. You've always wanted to love and be drenched in love. Sharing the God's given gift which turns out to be your curse with others. Alas drenched you are but not in love yet still drenched. It breaks me to see you fading into the dark depths of the sea. I'm comforted knowing that no one can hurt you again but burying you is the hardest thing I've had to do in all my life and it's what I wouldn't wish on anyone. So long until we meet again, Do rest my beloved one. We didn't deserve you.
