If only you knew
Every day, you're on my mind, So many feelings, all combined. Every day, i hope you see- the silent way you matter to me. And when you glance and meet my eye, my heart just leaps and wants to Fly. But what do you see, what do you find? What role do I play in your sweet mind? Your eyes and mine, a fleeting bind. Do you look past what's left behind? Can you see the Realest me, the one that hides, yet longs to be free? I smile like nothing's going on, Like all the doubt and fear are gone. But deep inside, I still don’t know If what I feel will ever show. I wonder if you feel it too— That quiet pull when I see you. Or am I just a passing face, A fleeting moment, lost in space? I dream of words I’d love to say, But every time, they slip away. So I just stay behind the scenes, Hiding in half-finished dreams.
