If only I could converse through the nights, If only I could unveil my heart; If only you could perceive me aloud, If only you could note a voice. I would list you an eternal waves That fret me with each early rise, An irksome jest in every breath I hold, The tremulous ache of a haggard life. Yet, come what may-against all odds I would turn unwearied, O patient moon, Pouring out each glum, jammed within, To gratify my silent self at last
