IF LOVE COULD BRING YOU BACK.
If love could build a bridge to heaven's sky, I'd walk across it, no matter how high. I wouldn't need riches, I wouldn't need fame, I'd only want to hear you call my name. If tears could bring back the time we lost, I'd cry through the rain, whatever the cost. If prayers could rewrite what destiny planned, I'd hold your little paw in my hand. I'd give anything for one more day, One more little moment where you'd run and play. One more happy bark, one more gentle stare, One more reminder that you were still there. They say, "You were only a pet," But those words are ones I can't forget. They never knew the love you gave, Or the happiness you came to save. Now I look at the places you used to be, And miss the friend who completed me. Though you're gone beyond my sight, Your love still fills my darkest night. I hope you're running where skies are blue, Free from pain in a world that's new. And until the day I meet you above, I'll carry forever our endless love.
