If I Had the Power...
If I had the power of speed, I’d never be late to class — guaranteed. No more rushing, no more stress, I’d be there before the lecture even starts, no less. If I had the power of light, NEPA will be scared of me, day and night. No more panic when my phone's low, I'd stream, scroll, or text on the go. If I had the power to never be broke, I’d pay my fees without getting choked. I’d get the best costumes, props, and shoes, And never worry about what I can’t choose. If I could multiply food like a spell, A single indomie would feed me well. No more deciding between Garri or oil rice, I'd eat like a king without thinking twice. If I had the power to escape this heat, The AC would follow me down every street. No more sweating through lectures and queues, Just cool air while I sip on some juice. So maybe I lack powers to bend space, But I’ve got talent, and dreams to chase. No matter the struggle, the stress, or the strain, I'll thrive in the storm, and rise again. UNIBEN’s a jungle, no cap, no lie, But I survive it — don’t ask me why. 'Cause even with no powers, no cheat code to try, I’m still standing cos I have to try.
