If I Die
As I was crossing the street On a busy busy road My heart painfully thundering The stress too much to hold I looked at the cars passing by me Between crossroads of two street The pedestrian lane so obvious But my gaze dared not let it meet I could not take my eyes away The trucks and vans that pass by And not for the first time wondered What would happen if I step out and die I want one hit to kill me Save me from prolonged pain The fast and swift agony of death this brings Would be better than living this life again
