If Ever Alone
I'm okay, If ever it's quite, Perhaps it's loneliness, That has numbed me, From deafening silence, I am broken compassion, Because my heart is defiant, Crushed, But not destroyed, Yeah,I've been hurt, But I'm more evolved, From felling broken. Yet can't break my heart, From being open. Felt opposed, To loving again, Surely my ego, Drowning in jealousy, beside me. Let it control me, A loveless abyss, Show unrivalled patients , And love can exist. Happy by my lonesome, Happy with someone else. We will only hurt others, By not loving ourselves. So I will smile,if ever it's quite, Allowing loneliness To comfort me. I Will love my someone, And all that you are, Hoping to miss, Even if were five feet apart!
