"Identify Your Triggers"
I see us from an outsider's view Dancing and twirling Your laugh like lyres and windchimes And the sun breaking through the clouds And then I see you Holding my hands in your own Uncaring of the bystanders And I'm myself, and I can feel Their eyes tamper with my nerves And their whispers assault my sanity But all you know is me So why should I care for anything else You call me when I lie And tell me to fret my whining And my brother tells me a stupid joke And I feel anger again My therapist telling me To consult my empathy and breathing But having been wrenched From my daydream once again I feel as if the resolve As been wrenched From my soul
