Icarus and I
I have always loved the story of icarus, the story of the boy who flew to close to the sun. I have always loved the story of icarus, and I think I know why. I to have flown to close to the sun. I was given an ounce of kindness with a pair of wax wings and decided to try and fly. but just as icarus did, I did not heed the warnings. oh, how I have fallen. my wings are melting, and I am on my downward plumet to the deep, dark ocean below. but I don't think they tell the true story of icarus because just like icarus, I flew too close to my sun, and now I'm on my fatal descent. but just like icarus, I once flew. I lived happily and freely. Even if it were not for all but a small moment, I lived with no care, I was able to breathe, and I don't regret a single thing.
