I wonder

As I walk down the street I wonder What goes through the heads of passers-by What hidden battles they face Maybe they think about a difficult court case Or the happiest day of their life Nobody knows, yet as I wander I wonder if they do the same Or if I'm alone with my brain Not totally insane Empathy consumes my thoughts And I wonder if it consumes yours too I could express the emotions Yet I keep silent as I wander
