I Wish You Knew

I wish you knew... I wish you knew what do I even wish you knew? I have so much in my head that I want you to know, but I don’t know how to say it. I really like you for holding my hand that day. You just sat beside me, saw me weak and I was screaming my feelings out. It hurt so bad. Not the injury. Really. Just that I knew what it was: 9 months without the thing I love. I know that you know how bad it was. Your eyes were like the ocean in a storm so blue, so worried. I just laid there while you held my hand. And I truly love you for being there. And this is just one small thing that I want you to know. I truly love and I look for you in the crowd because after that injury, you’re all I think about.
