I wish i was sleeping

it is morning i hear mom say its time to wake up i sit in my bed and stare at the ceiling "i wish i was sleeping" i get dressed, put on my shoes, and get in the car "I hate this" "i wish i was sleeping" we're driving to the bus stop mom is ranting about something and its my fault again "i wish i was sleeping" I am staring out the car window "i can't go to school again im not going to make it through another day but i have to go anyway" "i wish i was sleeping" im on the bus my eyes are filled with tears already and i haven't even gotten to school yet "i wish i was sleeping" im in class with my head on the desk and my teachers are worried "i wish i was sleeping" its lunch time and all my friends are eating but im not hungry "i wish i was sleeping" im on my way home im listening to music it's sunny outside but I wish it wasn't I'm home in my bed it's still day time but I just lay down and stare at the celing and i cant help but think that i wish i was sleeping
