I Wish I Was Blind
It's almost time... The closer I step, the clearer I see, does not yet bring you nearer to me. Darkness fills the space magnifying the fractures on your porcelain face I can touch this mask and feel it's breaks -- what a waste.... I can see it and caress it and still, all that's left is to detach from it. What a game and what a show... what a gambler you've come to know... Investment and constant promise for nothing but a piece of progress None was made -- just a broken piece that rests in the shade. Nothing flesh... nothing bone no blood to pour out. Nothing real to be known. I love this face -- well.. What's behind this waste of space. I know you're in the shadows -- so afraid of being exposed. I don't love this fractured scrap If this is all of you I have.... I have to detatch.
