I will make you listen
I keep quiet until my strong opinions burst through the damb of politeness i have built My barbed tongue, not wanting to be caged I will not coat my words in suger so u can swallow them easier I will not tone down my anger so you don't feel as guilty I will yell about how life has treated so many people unfair I will yell about how there are people sitting at the top watching other people struggle to clime well denying that they themselves never had to clime to begin with I will spit my venomous words and you will feel the sting and sit down and take it I will use my voice to scream for those who can't until my throat is raw and bleeding I will continue to write poems about my anger I will continue to ramble about my political views, and yes they are correct, I will not bite my tongue, i will wrap it around the words I shout at the top of my lungs I will spew my beliefs and you will listen I will make you listen
