I watched you give up on me Like a sinking ship lost in the sea You turned your back and walked away Leaving my heart, forgetting my name I tried to hold on with all my might But you were already out of sight The love we had, was it all a lie? I screamed and begged "You were all I had" I hoped and prayed for a second chance For you to see the light And come back to the dance But you were gone, and it felt like forever So I sank into a dark place Consumed my despair Asking myself, why did you leave And not even care? I tried to move on, to find someone new But the pain of your absence, it was all i knew So I stayed and I watched you give up on me As I slowly faded into my own misery
