I Was Not Enough
I was born on December 28 To the kindest hearts, best of fate But I turned into their deepest pain A daughter lost in guilt and shame My sisters shine, so smart, so kind But i am thr one, they leave behind They are everything our parents need I am just the one who makes Our parents heart bleed Every side of my brain is hurt The MRI showed what seizure did Sometimes I forget things And I wonder if I will ever feel like before I failed as daughter, I failed as a friend My failure never seems to end I failed as sister, I failed as a student No matter what, I break every rule of success I try to smile, I try to pretend But I am just waiting for this all to end I want to go where no one sees To hang in silence, swing in peace I whisper to the stars, I am sorry. I tried. But I failed I gave all I had , even when no one saw Even when it hurt , just to breath So, its me the worst of all The broken one who let them fall And maybe now they will finally see Life is better without someone like me ©tsheyring
