I was not a flower
I wish to forget the memory Of how the flower in me blossoms As the bee lands on my petals And buzz it ways through my pollen Unchastiesd with no permission. How I begget the memory, The light that follows in which The ferocious breeze whispered And landed a dagger through my ears, Invisible Bruises from their gentle touch. The darkness had a light that pierced through my mind, The sun cast a shadow for me to ask why, All that's left is a thought to want to forget as they handled me gently left and bruises to my heart. Surely those invisible Bruises has been engraved within me, A thought has now become clearer Of the thing I forgot to see, Something I did i did not understand, As the whispers of the night and dark Cast a shadow through my mind I was not a flower to be admired For the bee to touch and unchastiesd I was a seedling wishing to grow on good soil, I was just a seedling wishing for no one to spoil.
