i was fine alone
i was fine alone, healing my young heart from pain one-sided. my own solitude, i craved. a story of an 11 year old admiring someone with a heart so cold, a story that has never been told but is desperately forgotten and old. i was fine alone, feeling warmth of my own solitude and content with what i hold. “you may wish, but he knows what's right for you.” i wished to never like another someone again i wished so desperately not to feel the same pain all over again. and what i did not know was, another boy had been fixing a heart he never broke. gently putting all the scars to heal, remaking pain to a warm love i longed to feel. i've never been loved so right, as good as now.
