My elders think that they can change me To them I do not measure up They only want me to be like them because they think that something's wrong My views are different than theirs are I do not think that is so bad I get to make my own mistakes and not the same ones that they did I am the wind that circles in from no where I am the touchdown thrown for which no one will cheer I am the one who screams but still no one will hear I am that way because I walk so all alone
