I try to be good To stay in the right, and stand for the truth I try harder when it gets lonely I try to love, to care, to give And not expect anything I try to find meaning in each of their actions I try not judge, backbite or slander But look deeper than what meets the eye I try to understand But why can't they try even once - to be good and honest to love, care and give to not find fault in everything, everyone I try hard each day But slowly I'm drifting off Becoming blind, dumb, deaf Choosing not to care I'm trying not to lose myself - in this darkness.
