I throw away my poems
Feelings are temporary when you have a gun Shadows are following me isn't that fun They come talk to me when it's all set and done. My parents sold me away for their beers burdened by too many fears of what they created minds turned braided but once they drink their fill they'll see me for who I am but the Bender isn't over yet it's only just began their true they thoughts spill Once they take a drink I cut myself open to feel myself pink I need someone else to tell me what I should say or think For my thoughts are never my own I cried everyday wanting to go home the same home that made me depraved the same home where poison is always craved You're spilling over drowning in it breathing in it intertwined and enveloped like rust in your ribs you can feel it we will sell you your forgiveness if you admit you're worth 50 cents I hope the fence we mended falls down beneath its own weight they hurt their bodies the quiet their mind I know that it's too late I'm tired so I'll set a fire Tangled Up in barbed wire with endless cuts I'll burn this town down I smell pollen were the grass still lives I smell flesh where the kids did not This town is dying The kids aren't done crying when he puts the gun on his Sun
