I Think It'll Always Be Her
She doesn't realize the smile I get She doesn't realize that I laugh more She doesn't realize I have been smitten It's her I want late at night when I can't sleep It's her I want to talk to first thing in the morning She doesn't like me like that But it's all I can do to keep from telling her I just wish I knew that she at least liked me before I don't want to ruin what we have It's light and silly and fun We're just two kids trying to make it out alive But if someone were to ask me about crushes I'd have to look away and not think her If someone asked me my type It'd take everything in me to not describe her It's stupid to kick my feet But I'm not ready to lose her Just because I can be alone and survive Doesn't mean I want to be Not when I know someone like her exists
