I stopped running away

It's weird... I've been running away from it for so long I was scared that it will consume all of me I was so terrified of it But then I realised it is the only thing that never left me alone My darkness?? It's comforting I can say Maybe because I'm acquainted with it Or maybe because it expects the worst from me and maybe I'm only capable of that. So I stopped running away.
