I Say I'm Fine
When I say I'm fine, But I'm screaming inside. The weight of my emotions, Too heavy for me to bear. I smile through the pain, Hiding behind a facade, But deep down I'm hurting, Longing for someone to understand. I put on a brave face, Pretending everything's okay, But the tears in my eyes, Tell a different story. So when I say I'm fine, Just know that I'm not, And a simple hug or kind word, Could mean a lot. So please, don't just take my smile at face value, For behind it lies a world of hurt, And all I need is a little love and understanding, To help me through the storm.
