I Saw You This Morning
(Part Two💚) I saw you this morning... And I didn't see you. It's 2 am, and I'm wide awake. How can one sleep with , a heart that aches ? I count the stars, then whisper too, Their total modulo two. One for me, and one for you. One like our hearts, Zero is me without you . Stop staring at me, moon so high. Your charm means less ~I'm bound, I'm not alone, my soul belongs, it's not my own. I close one eye, and let one see. Hoping your shadow, will visit me. The night is cold, the dark is wide . My heart seeks you, where fears reside. I'm lost in darkness, drowned in pain. But find myself, when I see you near. Will our eyes cross someday? My heart screams love, in its own way . A love so deep, it bends my mind. Drowns me in thoughts, I can't unwind. A love that bleeds, and, breaks my chest. A longing ripping, through my rest. Your absence tires me, drains my breath. It tortures me and , starves me death.
