I Saw You This Morning
(Part Three💚) I saw you this morning… and wished I'd not, The ache you left, it hurts a lot. Now morning breaks, on my weary eyes. As sunlight crawls, through sleepless skies. The sky calls down, in a shade of blue. And dawn birds, dance as if they knew. I rush to you, my pulse explodes. Of course, today’s the day love finds new roads. My sun has risen, calm this flame. My chest is burning, calling your name. I give out joy to all I pass. Then fall apart, like shattered glass. I leap and laugh like a clown. I howl and beg, I bark, I plea For crumbs of love, you'd give to me. They say I'm foolish, they say I'm sad, by the universe folded in your head. They say I'm haunted Lost and bound, By your eyes orbit spinning round.
