I said I want to grow up.
For what I expected was not what I see, A world of sadness, headaches, pain, and problems, it seems. Oh, how I longed for freedom's sweet embrace, But now the weight of worries I must brace, Sadness lingers in the corners of my mind, Leaving no respite, no solace to find. Headache lingers, pounding with relentless might, A constant reminder of life's endless fight, Days filled with torment, a cruel and bitter strain, Oh, how I yearn to break free from this pain. Problems surround me, suffocating like a coil, No matter where I turn, they relentlessly foil, Each step forward met with yet another hurdle, An exhausting battle, my courage in a muddle. But, amidst the darkness, a glimmer of light, A flickering hope, shining in the night, For in the depths of despair, strength will arise, And through perseverance, I'll reach the skies. Though sadness may haunt, and headaches endure, With determination, I'll find a way to secure, A life filled with joy, where problems dissolve, A world where dreams can truly evolve. So, though I didn't expect this path I tread, I'll learn to navigate, find peace instead, For in the face of adversity, I'll stand tall, And transform the pain into a victory call.
