I Overthought

When I asked you  "Why did you follow me?" You assumed it mean I loved you. You assumed the meaning.  You judged me without knowing.  When I asked you, My mind was spiraling - Why did you talk to me? Why did you trust me? Why be my friend?  When I asked you, My lonliness took hold. I never had a close friend. I never had someone to text. I didnt deserve this. When I asked you, I already could see the end Yet I'm still left wondering All those words we shared, Did it mean something?
