You say I do all of these things All of you say "You leave hay string everywhere" But while I feed I watch myself As a prison warden Does an inmate Careful watchful eyes I never see myself Drop any hay string You say I do all of These other things That I never once catch Myself doing Maybe Just maybe I am your scapegoat For being lazy "Its okay we'll blame it on her" I'm accused of everything I have begun To feel guilty For even so much as breathing As if a whipped down dog Crawling on my belly all the time With my eyes cast down Afraid to look at anyone for fear Of being yelled and degraded at
